VIP Blackjack
Seven seats, a real dealer and room to think. This is our higher limit blackjack table, with side bets, pre-decision and the pace of a quiet pit rather than a crowded floor.
What makes a table a VIP table
The game itself is blackjack as you already know it. You are dealt cards, the dealer takes their own, and you decide whether to draw. What the VIP label changes is the setting: higher limits than our standard tables, seven seats rather than a packed floor, and a dealer working a table that is not trying to serve fifty people at once.
That matters more than it sounds. A quieter table means your decision clock feels generous instead of frantic, the dealer has time to greet players by name, and the shoe moves at a pace you can actually follow. If you have ever felt rushed on a busy live table, this is the room you have been looking for.
Seats are finite. With seven places, a popular table can fill, and when it does you can still sit behind the action where your table offers bet behind, backing another player's hand while you wait for a place to open. Our lobby shows which tables have room before you click in.
Your options once the cards are out
Every standard blackjack action is available, plus two conveniences that only exist on a live table.
All live tables →Hit or stand
Draw another card or hold what you have. The dealer waits for your call, and an on-screen clock shows how long you have.
Double down
Commit a second stake and take exactly one more card. Offered when the rules of your table allow it.
Split
A pair can be split into two hands, each with its own stake, each played out in turn.
Insurance
Offered when the dealer's up card is an ace. Take it or wave it off before play continues.
Pre-decision
Signal your intended move before the dealer reaches you. It keeps the hand moving and you can still change your mind when your turn arrives.
Side bets
Optional extra wagers on how the cards fall, placed alongside your main stake. What is on offer is listed at your table.

The dealer, the shoe and the camera
Your hand is dealt by a person from a physical shoe in an Evolution studio, filmed from above and in front so you can see every card as it lands. There is no software deciding outcomes behind the scenes. The cards come out of the shoe in the order they come out, and the overlay on your screen simply totals them for you.
The feed carries the dealer's microphone, so you hear the calls as they are made, and the table chat lets you talk back. Dealers are trained to keep the table moving politely and they will answer a rules question, though not a strategy one.
Tables stream 24 hours a day, so there is no closing time and no waiting for an Australian evening. If your connection fails mid hand, the hand is completed under the table rules and settled on our side. You will find the outcome in your account history when you log back in.
Limits, etiquette and the things dealers quietly appreciate
VIP limits sit above our main floor, and the exact minimum and maximum are printed on the table tile in the lobby and again in the game's info panel. Check them before you sit, because a VIP minimum is not a casual stake and we would rather you chose a table that matches your budget than discover the floor is higher than you planned.
Payout rules, side bet options and whether the dealer draws on a soft total all vary by table and are published in that same info panel. Read it once for the table you intend to play. It takes a minute and it is the difference between knowing your table and guessing at it.
- Act inside your decision clock. A hand that times out is played by the table rules, not by you.
- Do not advise other seats on their hands. Everyone plays their own cards at their own cost.
- Keep the chat civil. Dealers can mute a seat, and the studio will if it has to.
- Tipping is optional and never expected at any VegasNow table.
- If the table is full, wait for a seat or back a hand rather than badgering a seated player to leave.
On mobile, and why bonuses sit awkwardly here
The mobile table puts the dealer above and your hand below, with hit, stand, double and split as large buttons across the bottom. It runs in your phone browser with no download and the same account you use on a laptop. Since it is a live video feed, a stable wi-fi connection makes for a better hand than patchy mobile broadband.
Blackjack and bonus funds are an awkward fit, and we would rather say so than let you find out the hard way. Table and live games contribute 10% or less of each wager toward the 35x wagering on bonus funds, and while a bonus is active no stake on the site can exceed A$7.50. On a VIP table, where the minimum is already higher than our standard floor, that cap can put the table out of reach entirely until your wagering is cleared.
The practical answer most of our players land on is simple: clear the welcome package on pokies, where every dollar wagered counts in full, then come to this table with cash and play at the limit you actually wanted. Our bonus page sets out the full conditions, including the 30 day window, if you want to read the detail first.
VIP Blackjack questions
How many players can sit at the table?
Seven. When every seat is taken you can wait for one to open, or back a seated player's hand if your table offers bet behind.
What are the table limits?
VIP limits run higher than our standard live blackjack tables. The exact minimum and maximum for the table you choose are shown on the table tile in our lobby and in the game's info panel.
Which side bets are available?
Side bets vary by table. The ones open at your table are listed in its info panel and on the betting layout before the deal.
What does pre-decision do?
It lets you flag your intended move before the dealer gets to you, which keeps the hand moving. You can still change your decision when your turn actually arrives.
Is a real dealer involved?
Yes. Cards are dealt by hand from a physical shoe in an Evolution studio and streamed live to your screen, 24 hours a day.
Can I play VIP Blackjack with a bonus?
You can, but live and table games contribute 10% or less toward wagering and the A$7.50 maximum bet applies while a bonus is active, which often sits below a VIP table minimum.
