Crazy Time

A host, a giant vertical money wheel and four bonus rounds hiding behind it. You get your bets down, the wheel goes round, and the room either pays or groans.

What you are actually betting on

Crazy Time is a wheel, a presenter and a studio floor that never closes. The wheel is split into number segments and bonus segments, and your job before each spin is to decide which of them the pointer will stop on. Back a number and you are hoping the wheel lands on that number. Back a bonus and you are hoping the wheel sends the whole table into that bonus round, where the real noise happens.

Your bets go on the betting board in front of you, and you can spread them however you like: a bit on each number, everything on one bonus, or a mix. Chips in Australian dollars, stakes you choose, and a clock on screen telling you how long you have. When it hits zero the host closes the table and nothing can be added or taken away.

Above the wheel sits the top slot. Before each spin it rolls a segment and a multiplier, and if the two line up, that segment plays for the round with the multiplier attached. It is a short piece of theatre that happens before every single spin and it is the reason a quiet round can suddenly become a loud one.

Bonus segments

The four bonus rounds

Land one of these segments and the host takes the table off the main wheel and into its own set.

Bonus roundWhat happens when it lands
Cash HuntA wall of multipliers is shown, then shuffled behind symbols. Everyone at the table aims at one square and fires. You find out what you picked when the symbols lift.
PachinkoThe host drops a puck down a wall of pegs toward a row of values at the bottom. Land on a doubling slot and the puck is dropped again with everything on the board boosted.
Coin FlipTwo coins, red and blue, each given a value. The host flips one and the side that comes up decides which of the two values pays the table.
Crazy TimeThrough the red door into the bonus room, where a huge wheel of multipliers waits. You choose blue, green or yellow before it spins, and the flapper of your colour decides your result.
  1. Bets open

The board lights up, the counter starts and you place chips on the numbers, the bonuses or both.

  2. Top slot rolls

A segment and a multiplier are drawn above the wheel. A match puts that multiplier in play for this spin only.

  3. The host spins

The wheel turns, slows and the pointer settles on a segment. Numbers pay out there and then.

  4. Bonus or next round

A bonus segment takes the whole table into that round. Only players who backed it take part, and everyone else watches and waits for the next spin.

How a live floor reaches your lounge room

Every round you play is happening in real time in an Evolution studio, filmed by a bank of cameras and streamed straight to your browser. The presenter can see the table chat, so when someone lands a Pachinko double you will usually hear about it. There is nothing automated about the result: a person spins a physical wheel and the camera watches it stop.

The feed adjusts to the connection it finds. On a good line you get a sharp wide shot with close-ups on the pointer. On a weaker one the stream steps down a level rather than stalling, and you keep playing. If it cuts out completely, any bet already confirmed stands and settles on our side, and you can see the outcome in your account history when you return.

Our live floor is supplied by Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live and it runs 24 hours a day, so there is no closing time to work around and no need to wait for a table to open in a particular time zone.

Limits, pace and table manners

Each Crazy Time table carries its own minimum and maximum for every bet spot, and both are printed on the table tile in our lobby before you sit down, then again in the game's info panel. Check them first if you have a particular stake in mind, because the spot limits differ between the numbers and the bonuses.

The round clock is short by design. If you like to think about a bet, use the repeat and double buttons rather than rebuilding your layout from scratch each time, and keep an eye on the counter instead of the chat. Bets confirmed after the host closes the table do not stand.

  • Keep the chat civil. Our hosts read it live and anything abusive gets you muted by the studio, not by us.
  • Never ask a host what is coming next. They are spinning a physical wheel and they know exactly as much as you do.
  • Tipping is optional and never expected at any VegasNow table.
  • One account per player, and the account must be in your own name. Our one-time ID check applies before your first withdrawal.

Phones, bonus funds and the 10% rule

On a phone the layout rearranges itself: video up top, betting board below, with the bonus spots sized for thumbs. It works in Chrome and Safari with no download, though a live table is a video stream, so wi-fi is kinder to your data plan than a long session on mobile broadband.

One thing to be clear about before you commit bonus money to this table. Live games such as Crazy Time contribute no more than 10% of each wager toward the 35x attached to your welcome funds, and while that bonus is active your stake on any game is capped at A$7.50. Both rules together make the live floor a slow way to clear wagering, which is why most of our players keep the game show tables for cash and run their bonus through the pokies, where every dollar counts in full.

None of that stops you playing here with a bonus balance. It just means going in with your eyes open. The full set of conditions, including the 30 day window and the free spin schedule, sits on our bonus page.

Crazy Time questions

Is the wheel really spun by a person?

Yes. Crazy Time is filmed live in an Evolution studio with a presenter spinning a physical wheel. You are watching the same spin as everyone else at the table.

Do I have to bet on the bonus rounds?

No. You can play the numbers only and simply watch when a bonus lands. You take part in a bonus round only if you had a bet on that segment when the table closed.

What is the return to player?

The published return figures for this title sit in the game's info panel, which you can open from the table at any time.

What are the table limits?

Minimums and maximums are set per bet spot and shown on the table tile in our lobby and in the info panel. They can differ between the number segments and the bonus segments.

Does it count toward my welcome bonus?

Only in part. Live and table games contribute 10% or less of each wager toward the 35x requirement, and the A$7.50 maximum bet applies while a bonus is active.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes, through our mobile web app in any modern browser. No download, no app store, same account and same balance.
