Fishin' Pots of Gold
Cast into a tidy twenty line pokie where four pots of gold hang above the reels and a bonus wheel decides which one you are fishing for. Demo credits or real AUD, both in our lobby.
A classic twenty liner with a wheel bolted on
Fishin' Pots of Gold comes from Gameburger Studios and keeps its base game neat: five reels, three rows and twenty fixed paylines, with lures, rods, boots and card ranks under a bright Irish fishing theme. Wins pay left to right along the lines, so the paytable is short and quick to read.
What lifts it above a standard twenty liner is the pot system. Pots of gold sit as a target above the grid, and reaching them opens a bonus wheel that decides which pot you are playing for. The game runs in two gears as a result: a calm line based base game, then a bonus that can land well above it.
The medium to high volatility profile means the lines tick over often enough to keep a session moving, while the bonus stays the thing you are really spinning for. Find it in our pokies lobby under feature games.
How the Pots of Gold round starts
Triggering the feature spins a wheel rather than dropping you straight into free spins. The wheel selects which pot of gold you play for, and the pots differ in what they award. Some lead to a cash prize, others to a free spin round attached to that particular pot.
Because the wheel sits between the trigger and the prize, two identical triggering spins can produce very different rounds. Part of the appeal, and part of the variance, is not knowing which pot is coming.
Each pot's prize structure, the number of spins it carries and the wheel segments themselves are all set out in the game's info panel. Open it from the menu in the game window before your first real money spin and nothing about the round will surprise you.
Play Fishin' Pots of GoldFisherman wilds and the free spins
Two features do most of the lifting.
Fisherman wilds
The fisherman substitutes for standard symbols and can finish a line that was one symbol short. During the spin rounds he takes on the collector job the theme promises, so keep an eye on him whenever a cash symbol is on screen.
Free spins by pot
Instead of one generic round, spins are attached to whichever pot the wheel picked. The feel changes with it: more spins at a lower level, or fewer spins aimed at a larger pot.
Twenty fixed lines
All twenty lines stay active, so your stake always buys the whole grid. There is no line slider to get wrong and no way to accidentally play a short board.
Session planning on a medium to high pokie
Volatility is about distribution, not generosity. A medium to high pokie like this one pays small line wins regularly and saves its biggest results for the pot round, so your balance should move in both directions rather than vanish in ten spins.
Choose a stake you could repeat two or three hundred times inside your budget and the bonus has a realistic chance to appear. Raising the bet because the feature feels overdue is the one habit that turns a planned session into an unplanned loss. The reels keep no record of the last hour.

The bonus rules that apply while you fish
Pokies clear the 35x wagering at full weight, so every spin here counts for its whole stake. Live and table games contribute 10% or less, which is why we steer bonus players toward the pokies lobby in the first place.
Two conditions catch people out. The first is the A$7.50 maximum bet while a bonus is active, which applies per spin and is enforced on the account. The second is the 30 day window to finish the wagering. Both are stated in full on our bonus page and in the terms and conditions.
No code is needed anywhere in the process. Deposit A$20 or more and the match is added as the money lands, which also happens to be the answer our promo code page is asked for most often.
Common questions
Who makes Fishin' Pots of Gold?
Gameburger Studios. The studio logo shows on the loading screen and again in the game's info panel.
How many paylines does it have?
Twenty, all fixed, across a five reel and three row grid. Your bet covers every line on every spin.
What is the return to player?
Shown in the game's info panel. Open the menu inside the game and look for the information screen rather than relying on a figure quoted elsewhere.
What do the pots of gold actually do?
Reaching the bonus spins a wheel that selects a pot, and the pot decides whether you take a cash prize or a spin round, and at what level. The segments are all listed in the paytable.
Can I try it for free?
Yes, in demo mode on play credits. Switch to real money whenever you like and the same game loads against your AUD balance.
